Welcome to the official Maple High School Model UN club website. We are a group of enthusiastic students who are passionate about debating, diplomacy, and global issues.
Our Mission
At MHS Model UN, our mission is to empower high school students to become global citizens who are knowledgeable, compassionate, and effective leaders. We believe that by participating in Model UN conferences, students can develop a deeper understanding of world affairs, build cross-cultural connections, and acquire practical skills.
About Us
Maple MUN, with its impressive membership of over 100 students, stands as one of the largest at Maple High School. The club's profound dedication to debate, global politics, and its vision for a better future have firmly established it as a driving force within both the school and the provincial community.
Acomplishments
Model United Nations (Model UN or MUN) is an
educational simulation activity where students role-play as delegates representing different countries or regions in the United Nations. Participants engage in debates, negotiations, and discussions on global issues, aiming to find diplomatic solutions and gain a deeper understanding of international relations and diplomacy.
